Hi P******

I've attached the health insurance article. Just to let you know, I'm actually out of the office over the next few days so I'll be working on your other ticket as of next Wednesday.

Thanks,
Amy

Health insurance

Although the UK operates under the National Health Service, it’s still important to get some health insurance to a degree, there could still be some medical expenses incurred for perhaps dental work or elective surgeries and it’s best to protect yourself as much as you can.
If you have health insurance you’re covered against a myriad of procedures and illnesses, something that could be invaluable – particularly if you have a family to take care of, or you find yourself out of work for extended periods due to illness. Insurance is calculated by professionals taking into account how at risk you are from certain diseases, such as cancer, heart problems or diabetes, then working out how much you should pay in monthly instalments – in order to cover what could possibly be a long illness, when you might not have a wage coming in.
When considering taking out health insurance, it’s vital that you’re completely honest with your prospective provider. Mention any previous illnesses you may have suffered from – however minor they may seem, if you neglect to specify something in your past, it could invalidate your claim some time in the future. There’s not much worse than worrying about money when you’re ill, so be honest, and keep all your paperwork, it’ll be much less complicated if you need to make a claim and you have everything you need to support it.
In some cases, depending on your profession, you could be eligible for a health insurance plan as part of your employment, generally speaking these provide a better service than public health care, and it doesn’t hurt to get all the cover you can in case the worst should happen.
